The Vanguard gear needs to be rotated with different ammo bonuses. Different ratios of Strength, Discipline, Intellect. If I want to increase the reload speed of my Scout Rifle or the amount of ammo I can carry for that Scout Rifle I have to buy faction gear. Vanguard gear for the Hunter never has these options. I am glad that I was able to buy what I could before Bungie messed up things again.
