Can someone explain to me why console wars is a thing? I've been a playstation player since ps1 and have always loved it. I've also played xbox for a couple years and have also enjoyed playing it. People who dislike another console are probably saying that crap to make another person mad, or maybe Bc they've never played the other console and have heard bad things about it. Maybe play the other console before you hate on it.

I've played on the PS numerous times and disliked it for two reasons. Controller sucks, and the graphics were nowhere near as amazing people would claim them to be. This was ps3 (haven't played ps4 but I expect no difference.) As for console wars, you don't see these gaming companies directly supporting one another right? So why would their respective fan base have anything nice to say about another console? It's everyone's job to compete. That's the way I see it.
