It's kind of unreasonable to get pissed at people for not being confident with the relic or killing the gatekeeper when people with that attitude keep others from learning the mechanics. I've never been in a raid group where the people who haven't had the chance to hold the relic are told to go for it so they can learn it. I am a hunter, pre patch my job was to kill supplicants or to kill oracles with golden gun. I would not know the relic of I hadn't been in groups where almost no one knew it. It's a difficult thing to learn, people just need to be reasonable with their expectations from other players.
