I had the exact same idea.
Wider variety of exotics, all at lower prices.
Also sell the things that currently have a high demand: such as Heart of Praxic Fire, Helm of Saint-14, or Apocylophage Symbiote, and have good weapons such as Suros or Gjallarhorn.
Hopefully there'll be good stuff this week ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Even just a gift of strange coins instead of discounts would be nice, so that players who buy Destiny on black friday can have an opportunity to get a free exotic or two for when they finally level up to 20. That would also be a good marketing tool to sell stocks of Destiny on Black Friday :)
