It's really sad that she went so young but what I find so heartless about this story is that her family had her hair cut, a suit put on her and made it an open casket funeral. This is one of the most disrespectful things I've seen in a long time.
What are your thoughts on it?

4 回复Should have respected the individual. Brings up a thought though. Sense we can't alter our DNA, at least not well. Is the cosmetic and hormone therapy enough to get past what someone's DNA says. Ex, person is male at birth, feels like he is a woman, has complete sex change and hormone therapy, blood work is done years later. Blood still identifies individual has male. Is blood wrong? If not, then are we wrong calling him a male? Should we overlook the fact that he is male in respect of his wishes? If that's the case, is the "change" real or is it just real to that individual? I'm not saying one answer is right or wrong, just curious what you guys think.

1 回复Why are people so insecure with their natural Physiology that they feel the need to identify as the opposite gender? Nothing wrong with having a Dick/Ham Wallet/Both (though eyebrows may be raised at this one).

1 回复If you're a transgender then that's your choice. I got no problem with that. I just don't like how people can be so insecure about being a man/ woman that they feel they need to spend tons of money to make themselves look like the opposite gender.

4 回复He was a man, so no it wasn't disrespectful. There are plenty of freaks that want to be something they are not.

8 回复That's incredibly disrespectful. She was a woman. Your gender is not defined by your biological birth sex nor what body parts you have. She identified as woman, she was a woman, she should have been buried as a woman.
-
4 回复It's an outrage. We also should bury hoarders with as much crap we can fit in their coffins too. You know, all psychiatric disorders being equal.

19 回复No matter what you do, you cannot change your gender through any means. You can cut your penis off, grow your hair out, get breast implants, and wear women's clothes, but you still won't be a woman. The Y chromosome is still there. Genetics > Mental thought process. "If it's got a Y, it's a guy"
