Fire team chat, people seem to avoid it like the plague despite the constant who ring and moaning on the forums until it came out. As a simple question wtf is up with that??

2 回复Not that bothered about chat in PvP but why you no give us chat in the Tower Bungie :(

I noticed it's only ever one guy who enters the chat... while I'd be happy enough to chat and try and team up I'm not very good and don't have the maps down so my callouts would be interesting at the very least... all things considered I figured it's best I just try to learn at my own pace :/

What I find interesting is that the only places this would have been useful already had a fire team chat function in place. I can only speak from Xbox One experience, but if you leave party chat and have a mic plugged in then you can communicate with your fire team via game chat functionality. It was always there. I used it on multiple occasions prior to the patch due to Xbox's party system being garbage on the new OS... Adding the ability to just talk in general in Patrols and Tower is great, but unless you are building a team for something I don't think it will be terribly useful.

I never wanted the chat. Now that it is implemented I will still refuse to use it. Games like COD and BF4 ruined in-game chat for me. I don't want to listen to idiots playing loud music in the background I don't want to hear people using gay azz ebonics and saying "nig" this or "nig" that I don't want to hear people talking crap about each others moms I don't want to hear all the kids in the background crying This list can continue. Point is, too much bullcrap on the other mics. I will stick to my friends only chat.

3 回复*err* maybe because you dont get the point of it.. people actually never asked for voicechat in STRIKES... they asked for "voicechat" TO be able to talk to each other in order TO form teams.. another of Bungies famous jinx.. noone asked explicit for voicechat in Strikes , this would have only been a nice "addon".. but EVERYONE asked for TOWERCHAT instead in order to form Raid teams.. .. or to add some tiny litle bit of social feeling into the antisocial, social area. in Destiny..

11 回复It never turned on for me. Also it shouldnt be something you should have to turn on, it should be automatic. You should only have to turn it off or mute other players

I haven't played pvp since it launched but here are my reasons - a very small percentage of the community is on the forums so generally speaking most people didn't ask for it - it wasn't in there at launch so a lot of people probably just stopped caring about it - even though it's well intentioned I don't feel most people know how to turn it on - I'm married with a kid and that means my kid is either yelling in the background or asleep while I play. If I want to chat I do it intentionally during raids - I get enough random invites when I'm in the tower I don't want to actually hear people asking me HARD RAIDS?!!?/NIGHTFALL?!!? - I honestly don't want to her people (mostly kids) yelling every time they die or their constant commentary That being said I would only really use it in strikes but those are so easy I don't really need to communicate. If they added harder strikers (26, 28, 30) I would be forced to start using it.

1 回复Ppl have gotten use to the silence. Besides, the game was practically built around non communication, minus the Raid.

3 回复Most of us never asked for it. TBH, you are nothing more to me than a resource that's required to complete content. You don't see me starting a conversation with spinmetal do you?

Yea I get ya. Dnt bitch bout wanting stuff. Then never use it. If bungie listen to us an add it to the game. That's brilliant. But dnt then just go ooh! I myself dnt have a Mike. But I never was interested in team chat. I think actions speak louder than words. But if bungie actually give something to make this half Arsed game seem a little more spark use it.

I never really needed it, fireteam chat works okay but I can never hear what's going on over firefights anyway. Without adjustable audio options, the voice chat is useless during activities anyway. I do think it's funny how people put the voicechat on but don't use it though. Say something if you're gonna use it. The only time I want to use it is to tell my team that they suck.. The only people on here crying about it complained about everything. In Deej's post about the voice chat, it sounded like he knew people wouldn't use it. That's why they didn't put it in in the first place. Plus I only started to get error messages after they implemented it. It's done more harm than good.
