for dlc, you have to buy it from the same region u bought ur game. or i found an article that states there are two conditions: DLC is from the same region as the game Software manufacturers are allowed to region-lock games the latter is very rarely seen, so I wouldn't worry about getting region-locked. However yea, maybe you should contact PS support again because these two reqs from the PS site. It should work. At least...is your game US region?

No its Singapore region.. the thing with contacting PS support live chat is as soon as they find out im not in US region they ask me to contact my regions support... and then when i contact Singapore region support via email (they dont have live chat) they dont even reply. :(

There's also the region of your PSN account to consider. I bought the US limited edition disc, and used Bungie's boar workaround to install the game, but the DLC codes didn't work with my EU account. Activision replaced them so they worked with my account, but the downloads won't apply to my game installation, which Activision says is because the regions don't match. Which raises the question: why did Activision replace codes on the basis of region mismatch?! That was an option on the code replacement form. Now they say only Sony can help, and Sony say only Bungie can help, and Bungie say… nothing.

not sure I understand completely...like your scenario. You bought a US game which is fine since games arent region-locked. However, you cannot buy dlc from your psn store because that's the EU psn store and not US psn store. But you said activision replaced your codes with US dlc version and it doesnt work (did i get that right)? What do you mean by the regions don't match after they replaced it?

The codes in the box were for the US store (I assume, all I know is they didn't work with my EU account). Activision replaced the codes, so the new codes did work in the EU store, and I have the downloads, but nothing appears in game or in the PS3 services list etc… on twitter Activision told me it's because the EU downloads don't recognise the US disc/install. Which means it was pointless for them to replace the codes in the first place!

Right exactly that wouldn't work. Funny I thought it would work if they r from the same region though like u said u bought the US disk with US dlc on it...but that didn't work so for some reason. they gave u EU codes....which means everything is screwed up right now. Maybe the EU acc matters then?
