A tip for people who hate arc blade
Don't just stand there and shoot, run away from them!
This thread used to be a rant about arc blade haters but all this talk has made me realise that people don't seem to get that you're supposed to run away from supers, not attack them. You wouldn't run out and try outshoot a golden gun or sun singer (If you do they'll usually kill you, no surprise there) so stop trying to kill arc blade! It's a super, of course you're gonna be killed by it if you stick around!
With that one simple trick arc blade is easy to counter.

And i just keep blinking around them. eventually they'll kill me. But because they spend so much time chasing me, it means they have less time to kill others, i act as a distraction which means less points for them.

2 回复Actually, I typically kill warlocks with sun singer on and I lose to golden gun only in regular matches (iron banner head shots are more gold then golden gun). But you are right. You have no idea how stupid some people are when I run at them with my super. Or how annoyed I am when people jump and I have to do the same to hit them.

1 回复If you are standing 3 people together I'd actually advice that you shoot him instead. You cant really outrun Arc blade, he is however quite killable (ofc he will get his 1-3 kills at times) Good groups/people can kill an arc blader before he gets kills, this was especially the case in IB- So I don't really think Arc blade is OP :)

My warlock has failed at every attempt to jump over, jump away or run away from a Bladedancer. If I do see one and have a decent amount of distance, I charge up my pocket infinity. If he blades straight at me, all three shots get buried in his chest. Blade disintegrator.

由splattherpunk编辑： 11/24/2014 10:37:57 PMIf my super is up I just fist of havoc. If I'm with a group of competent players we kite the blade dancer. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The super is the easiest way to nail them. If it's a close match sometimes I save my super until the blade dancer pops.

19 回复You gain increased health when Bladedancing. Warlocks do not, unless we wear the Ahamkara Helmet. Blade dancer lasts longer than every other super, including Sunsinger Minmaxed. It's absolutely unbalanced. Every other super has a counter balance. Blade dancer? Does not. I try Panic Supering you because there is no other way? You auto-lock on to me mid-blink and one shot me. It's as easy as tapping R1 or RB and moving in one direction. It's a guaranteed 2 kills at minimum. Needs a shorter duration or it should require, at least, 2 hits to take us out.

2 回复The titan and warlock supers aren't as good as bladedancer because we cant run across the entire map with our supers active it is a one time use and they have to be in close proximity so unless everyone on the enemy team is all on the flag (which is very unlikely) you get 1-3 kills while a hunter can team wipe pretty easily, but thats just my opinion

The mobility, combined with the damage resistance is what pisses people off about bladedancing. You really can't run away, in most instances and killing the dancer just doesn't usually happen. Even with superior awareness, there is often nothing you can do to stop the inevitable. In this sort of game, where fast reactions and decisions are gold, it sucks to see a bladedancer coming and not be able to do anything about it. It just doesn't flow with the rest of the game. After trying out the Bladedancer subclass for awhile, I went Gunslinger for pvp. It's abilities take more precision and, imo, skill to use. I like more of a challenge than mashing down on an easy button.

I learned after 3 weeks after launch.. I run away and I try to make that red motion indicator go away haha... But when I still see him chasing me I shit myself and turn around hoping it wore off... Then I punch his throat
