No, I'm not let them do their game, you're idea sounds horrible, I'd actually like the game to be a futuristic twist of a actual story, Lore or Myth, or some event from History. I'd just like something that I could reference that not many people could. Like maybe something from Roman History, like maybe something in Hadrian's time or have a character that's a personality of Hadrian.

You see a trailer and if it looks bad it probably is bad, if you see a good trailer... well that's 50/50. This in equivalence to your story would be, sharknado, a joke. So theoretically you have a 75% chance to delivering a bad story line.
