I just made a turkey sandwich using bread I wouldn't normally use for a sandwich, but I thought "hey why not?" and it was -blam!-ing delicious. There was a cornucopia of flavors that worked surprisingly well together. I used cinnamon raisin bread, lettuce, yellow mustard (would have been better with Dijon) pepper jack cheese and two turkey slices and toasted it in the broiler. What seemed like a nasty, no frills sandwich turned out to be one of the best I've ever made. So, what's the the most mouthwatering sandwich you've ever made? Got any simple recipes you want to share?
