I was wondering why the robots have boobs.... when you think about it they are robots and don't need gender. But I guess it makes them pretty to look at?

Well I'd assume they were either made by humans or the traveler and then the traveller ultimately made them AI so then the design would be based off of humans. Thus their "gender" qualities add to their qualities in strength, patience and all that. Not that any of that really shows in the game and it's just a skin of a character.
