There's an achievement for completing a raid without anyone in your Fireteam dying at all... that means not one person can die, no one can get spotted by a Gorgon and you cannot succumb to the Orcales.
If we can complete this, I think the final chest will spawn in Atheon's Arena.
What do you all think?

Not sure if there's another chest or not but bungie does like to hide some things really well sometime, one example is the scarab gun in halo 2 and there are others but that one stands out the most to me, maybe collecting all the ghosts unlocks secret chest, really there's no way of knowing unless bungie confirms that there is in fact another chest or if someone figures it out

2 回复I was running a raid, we were going through the platform section. I went out of eyeshot from them and dismantled some legendary gauntlets that I wasn't going to use. They got notification on their screens that I obtained ascendant shards and asked what happened. I told them that I found the secret chest by jumping on an invisible walkway. LOL...they spent the next 15 minutes jumping off a cliff! The little things in life make me happy!

6 回复At this point what is the point? So u can get more ascendant shards/energy which are worthless after the dlc? I mean come on, if uve ever done flawless raider since the patch u would know that even if there was a chance at an exotic it wouldn't be worth it

I know people have done it flawlessly, but heres an idea i heard through some people to possible try. Would basically be a "perfect" raid. Meaning start to finish no deaths on hard, but along with that, not losing a single sync plate in the beginning, not letting a single vex sacrifice it's self to confluxes,, possibly not getting marked or missing oracles as well as not letting the templar teleport(not too sure on that part though) then going through gorgons undetected, then of course gate keepers/aethon, thats just my thoughts/what i've heard discussed among some i have played with.

8 回复The Gorgon maze has one mechanic everyone overlooks: Killing a Gorgon is a mechanic of the encounter. Kill one, and you don't get 'spotted'. It doesn't count against you. Plus once you do the chat window displays "The Gorgons are stronger" or something like that. This mirrors the Perseus myth in which Perseus kills a single Gorgon, and then escapes without confronting the rest. I'd bet dimes-to-doughnuts that if there is a super-secret seventh chest it has something to do with this. The results screen even tracks "Kills" and "Times Spotted" for the Gorgon maze. No one has found the seventh chest because no one approaches the Gorgon Maze with the myth the encounter is based on in mind. TLDR: much of Bungie's game follows certain myths or classic literature. The Gorgon Maze is no different, and most folks haven't noticed they've been overlooking an obvious clue.

Anybody tried this: In the Templar you have to 1 defend only the centre 2 defend both sides 3 defend all three points So try the same on the initial vex plates; let the vex hold left and right while you hold the center, then hold the sides while they hold the centre and then finally hold all three without letting the vex have any. Unlikely to do anything but if you are desperate to try something new then give it a go.

2 回复I'm assuming most people know the chest you get for not letting the Templar teleport is on a timer. What if after getting the spirit bloom chest or the secret ascendant materials chest or even the exotic chest right before the gorgans maze sets a timer that you need to beat to find this chest.

1 回复It was suggested to me by a friend that, provided no one dies and the vex do not take control of a sync plate, there would be a second chest that spawns once you raise the Spire & open the Vault. He showed me a path directly underneath the very first chest that takes you through a jumping puzzle to reach the Templar area. We didnt find anything whilst down there but there it is all the same.
