Wow, never happened to me. I know it happened with a friend of mine though. He joined my fireteam when the reset happened at 10am, but hadn't logged out first. After he logged out and back in he did it and it worked without a problem. Don't know if this will help you with your problem, but I rather do this then having the experience you just had.

Never been sour towards the game but this annoyed me. I understand not getting things when it is random but when it doesn't acknowledge what I just did without giving me preset items.

There's a lot of things regarding loot in this game, that quite frankly, should never happen. I sooooo cannot wait for WoW WoD to drop omg! Bungie, I'm changing my rating from 6/10 to 4/10 for Destiny. You really should have stayed in development longer for this.

It should never happen. I do the daily almost every day and always get either 2 shards/energy and a blue engram.
