Definition: “Scrub"
Alright I have been on these forums since Day 1 of Destiny being released, but I still do not have a clear and concise answer on what a “scrub" is. So community what is a scrub?

2 回复由Snake编辑： 10/31/2014 6:55:06 PMI'm guessing it's the act of removing electrons via a frictional force. Examples, scrubbing the floors to remove dirt, scrubbing your behind to remove the excess faeces... Scrubbing can leave scratches in materials that are not hard.

Cheese the boss, you're a scrub. Didn't cheese the boss, you're a scrub. Got exotica from Xûr, you're a scrub. Got exotics through random chance, you're a scrub. Like Halo/CoD/Skyrim/Fallout, you're a scrub. Have/don't have a significant other, you're a scrub. Call someone a scrub, you're probably a scrub.

So far the main identifying factor seems to be that, if you claim to play for fun and if you see someone else use “cheap" tactics to beat you, and you complain stating that these tactics do not require skill, you are a scrub. However this definition is too focused on multiplayer. Uuugh the true answer eludes me

1 回复It's a verb. rub (someone or something) hard so as to clean them, typically with a brush and water.

If you're not highly skilled in all things related to the game you're a scrub. If you need help in anyway you're a scrub. My favorite one is if you don't know how to do something you have never done you're a scrub. :)

Kind of along these same line but I was with a group of 5 buddies playing Fall of Cybertron and was having a hard time getting people to stick with us. I invited a random player to join us and he sent me a message telling me "I don't play with Scrubs". Okay, well we got match made with him for 5 games afterward and tortured him for all 5. He got slaughtered... We laughed and laughed...
