Advice for Killing Xyor?

They didn't patch anything. You can hide it the room before the shrieker while it's there so the wizards won't get you. The run out and kill any little guys you see and run back. That should spawn the drop ships. Rinse and repeat. He comes from the third drop ship.

Oh and I read somewhere it was a good idea to damage phogoth to like half health so we did. Xyor came down the 3rd or 4th ship and was dead in like 10 seconds. Back to orbit. DONE!

1 回复Have they patched the hide in the room method? We just spent over half an hour, killed who knows how many knights and wizards, and never saw Xyor. Just seemed like the same wave came over and over. Also never saw the dropships again if that has anything to do with it

4 回复Just get to Phogoths room. Don't shoot Phogoth at all. Clear all the Add's, the hide between the two rocks on the left out of the door. You'll get one dropship with some thralls and xyor. stay between those rocks and nothing else will spawn.

Hide behind the rock ledge near the cliff at the far left area of the arena. Phorgoth has a hard time (really hard time) hitting you there, and you can basically duck and cover and shoot. If you run out of ammo, wait a minute or two and it will refill.

Once you get to the summoning pits, you can stay in the entrance cave where the Shrieker spawns. no need to kill him, he will despawn. the knights and wizards will come partway into the tunnel. Save the correct damage type grenades, supers, heavies, and specials and take them down. You won't even need to worry about Phoggy. Eventually, Xyor will come into the cave, and he is just another yellow health wizard.

There are two rooms right before phogoth. The first one will spawn a shrieker every 5-10 seconds, stay in that room and shoot phogoths minions that walk to the door way until the shrieker spawns. Once the shrieker spawns run into the room before that and hide behind the wall, rinse and repeat. The shrieker also spawns monsters when it appears and you can also try to kill the minions that flood the shrieker room while its up but you only have ~5 seconds/8 shrieker bursts before they disappear. I got it first try @ level 25 solo doing this, also Xyor (wizard) will appear with ~5-10 enemies left with phogoth alive. PS. You don't need to kill phogoth especially since you get 0 drops. Your weapon upgrades as soon as Xyor dies.

Bring ice breaker to deal with the Wizards. Focus team fire on Knights in all areas first, I think arc damage does well. Then turn on the Wizards, one at a time with everyone's fire at once. Ice breaker works good for wizards as they have solar shields. Best strategy is to call out one enemy at a time and have everyone lay into it.

2 回复Since nobody else had anything to offer worth reading, I'll help you out. This is a tough mission if you try and play it "legit." There are going to be a ton of hallowed knights and wizards coming at you and you'll likely get overrun. If you want to beat Xyor and don't mind the boredom, your best option is to set the Pagoth free and then hide in the room behind the room with the Shrieker until Xyor pops in. The Shrieker won't bother you and for the most part neither will the minions but they will all come to the Shrieker room to find you. Hit Xyor with as heavy a fire weapon as you've got and you'll complete the bounty. You don't have to do anything more than kill him and then you can go back to orbit.

If the shrieker spawns, do not panic. If you sit in the room before the shrieker room it will despawn. Eventually Xyor will start popping his head in. I killed him very slowly so in my experience he (she, it? who cares Xyor is a -blam!-in bitch) does not despawn; I always wanted confirmation that Xyor would not despawn before this strategy but could not find it. You got it bro! Best with an icebreaker, but if you do not have it bring some weapon packs, crack open a cold one, light that J, and cheese him out.
