EVERY SINGLE TIME i see one of these posts(xbox users whining about timed exclusive content), it annoys the living shit out of me.....how is it that you all have forgotten that you got THE ENTIRE halo series? that was an entire SERIES of entire GAMES, that was exclusive to your console of choice....and now you want to whine, and complain about a few extra piece of content that playstation is getting, and is only going to have all to themselves for a little while? jesus christ, first world problems strike again..
thankfully, i don't care about platforms, so much as the games on them, so i've got xboxes, and i've played halo, and it's damn good...at least the bungie halo titles.....but anyway, seriously, quit crying..

What does HALO have to do with it? It was an Xbox exclusive, like many games are PlayStation exclusives. What's so hard to understand? RE:Destiny, timed exclusives have always been around. Call of Duty for Xbox and Battlefield for PlayStation come to mind. However, I can't recall either side having to wait a year for content that they purchased. A year? Come on. That's borderline insane. Thanks but no thanks, Bungie.

really, it's only relevance is in relation to all this idiotic nonsense about how "bungie has betrayed xbox" i'm so tired of hearing it, because it's so goddamn stupid...they didn't betray anyone, they're free to provide what they want, to who they want, when they want.....notice nobody's complaining about the lack of a stripped down destiny game for Wii-U..because nobody gives a shit about the Wii-U....it's just more idiotic fanboy hyperbole.....sad lads getting all butthurt because their "gods" have "forsaken" them... bungie isn't under microsoft's heel anymore.....they're not gonna cater to the xbox crowd's every whim anymore...cope..

Idiot. Destiny is not an exclusive game to Playstation therefore NEITHER console should have exclusivity since WE THE CUSTOMER are paying the same price of the game. Halo IS exclusive to Microsoft so what the f*ck is your point?

Agree. Both consoles have their exclusives. Why the hell are we paying the same price as Sony users and they get more content. This has officially been the only thing that has seriously upset me about destiny. And I've read nothing about "time exclusive content" so I don't know what this guy is talking about. If it was time exclusive I wouldn't be as pissed.

the exclusive content IS timed....it's been stated since launch that the exclusive content is ONLY exclusive until fall of 2015......meaning playstation users get to play with the stuff exclusively for a year, then both platforms have it.. that means the ships, the weapons, the armor, the crucible maps, strikes, ANYTHING currently exclusive to playstation, is only exclusive until fall of next year... and hell, here's another timed exclusive...the next tomb raider game....timed exclusive on xbox, for i think a year..... it's all rather silly, but whatever, it is what it is...

Destiny was marked with having no exclusive content besides the one strike and some random little things. Now we see that we can both pay the same amount of money and get two different experiences. Don't bring up CoD either because there is only a week to month delay in dlc launches. Bungie be exclusive or be completely the same. You just scanned everyone (ps4 &Xbox) with a half finished game and now all Xbox owners with the dlc. Congrats I don't plan on buying anything you make for such inconsiderate practices. We aren't just wallets like you treat us. Tl;dr all exclusive content sucks and only hurts gamers.

true, they were owned by MS, but we're not talking about that.....we're talking about exclusivity.. now that Bungie is free from microsoft's control, they're basically a free agent....so they signed with a publisher, and set off to make a multi-platform title....just because they chose to show sony a little more love this time, doesn't mean it's the end of the world.... they're making a choice that they are now ABLE to make, now that microsoft isn't calling the shots anymore.... you guys are gonna get your content...it's not like it's permanent exclusives....

no...the fanatical xbox fanboys will most likely storm off in a huff....and that's fine.. nobody wants to deal with their spoiled, deluded, insane, childish behavior anymore anyway.... the entirety of the xbox community is not composed of people such as them.....just like not all of the playstation community is.. they're butthurt that bnet isn't a microsoft fanboy circle-jerk club anymore, and they can't cope with having to mingle with sony fans, after having brainwashed themselves for so long that they're "the enemy".....it's kinda like after desegregation.....blacks could go to all the same places that whites could, but there were too many ignorant, bigoted, childish white people who couldn't stand the idea of having to mingle with them.... it's quite a fascinating thing to watch, from a psychological perspective, anyway..... so yeah, while they're storming off in a huff, i'll be perfectly happy here, talking to the more intelligent members of the destiny community, regardless of what platform they play on...
