im sorry but this was just dumb. you are trying to justify bungies idiotic changes....this system was not a bug...it was purposely implemented from the get go. They had multiple teams complete and test the raid (expert teams at that according to bungie) and your telling me this is a bug? right.....they are just upset everyone beat their ohhh so hard endgame content.
