FIX - 1.0.2.3 patch Server Contacting Error (PS4)
Simple solution to fix constant errors of patch 1.0.2.3 (monkey, error contacting servers).
WirelessAP users: Make a new WLAN connection for ps4, but define the DNS settings manually. Use Google's DNS, 8.8.8.8 as a primary, 8.8.4.4 as secondary.
Wired connection: I have not tried out, but this should work the same way IF you can set DNS properly to LAN settings.
I hope this works. Worked for me 100%. Either the patch or the update for PS4 messes the DNS somehow... Please reply if this post helped you guys.

Instead, we have a main post that tracks the MONKEY error here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/75534241/0/0 Any updates will be made there and we can share that people are encountering this error at a significantly reduced rate today, without having to change their network settings or configuration.
