helping lower members (Thread moved!)

[quote]I am a member of several groups on the forum and recently I have seen more and more lower levels requesting help and being ignored because everyone wants level 28+ members for VoG or nightfall.
I have decided to take it upon myself to make sure I help those lower levels rather than take the easy route and go with all higher members. I did the raid twice last week with 2 groups where the highest member other than me was 26. It took a bit longer but everyone now knows what they are doing and can enjoy it for themselves.
I even got to help with a level 9 who I found while patrolling who was getting stuck on a level, dropped them a message and joined in making it a walk in the park for them.
I am going to be dedicating my playing days for November to helping out the lower guys and running through the raid with them showing them the chests and tricks etc.
Hopefully my fellow Guardians will join me and spare their time to help out, just post your gamertag and I will note them all here if anyone is stuck.

7 回复What platform are you on. I'd like some help doing the VoG and the weekly heroics... Actually I'd really like anyone. Trying to find a team to do strikes is a pain!

4 回复I'm happy to help if I'm online and available. I've not completed VOG ever, or the nightfall this week but am happy to join anyone for other strikes & missions to help level them up a bit. I have a L7 warlock and know I need help with the lower levels now & again. I have a L28 Titan so add me if you want a hand with anything I can help with. I won't dictate anything like level, weapons etc, i like playing for fun, if you die, well we can revive & restart :) PS4 - munchycarrot555 If you add me, just say why so I don't ignore it :) Ps. Didn't want to sound unhelpful regarding Nightfall. I'd just rather try it and get battered with friends who don't mind reviving me

That's how I've added 3 people to my friends list this month. PS4 JESTA77, only stipulation is that you are level headed and mature minded, not an age thing, an approach to life thing. I'm from Australia so that's the time zone I work around.

Good on you. I've wanted to help lower level players but unless they point to something they need help with or message me (this has yet to happen), I prefer not interfering with someone else's Destiny experience. But, I do know that when I was low level and higher level players helped out with a PE, it felt great to get the help and the gold rating.
