Are helpful people a dying breed?
why is it so difficult to find people actually willing to help and just have fun with? so what if you wipe a few times, shits n giggles ... and to people saying it's because they don't like wasting time , guess what? you're playing a game! you already are wasting time!
what happened to just playing for fun, why is it being replaced by "i can do it faster" or "i have more kills!"
it's co-op , yet seems many people forgot what co-op is :(

I help people as much as I can. I post mostly in the reddit or Facebook groups to help others but I have been burned several times tryin to help people and people think that I am now obligated to help them every week or else I a,m the huge ass hole. Not every good deed goes unpunished

12 回复This is me in a nutshell! At heart I am very helpful and love to teach people things or just help out new people. But destiny......... oh destiny.... you... just.. You just turn me into a raging hater and I now hate ANYONE that asks for help. Let me put it this way. I am very very good at running a successful raid on normal or hard in about an hour. I lead crucible teams to victory that stretch 10 plus games. Now top that off with my level 30 and you get people constantly wanting help! Now how about this, get 50 active destiny friends that all beg you to run them in the raid. Then add in the hundreds of friends requests and messages I get every time I enter a public place. And to top that off I get a pig fat pile of sucky scrubs! I have helped hundreds of people beat the raid and even watched a fresh level 26 run the raid for the very first time after a week of playing and get the boots, chest and gloves as well as the Raid Scout Rifle in his first attempt! Now when this has happened to you come back here and tell me that you cant find helpful people. Ever since I hit level 30 the amount of beggars are astonishing. I have honestly lost my drive to help anyone unless it benefits me! /end rant

I'm always up for helping people who are going to listen to me. I've only ever quit a group that I was asked to help once, the reason being is how stupid they were acting, how loud they were, and the fact that they were dying because they wouldn't listen to me. It was enough to get me to a point where I actually quit. Of course they spammed me with invites afterwards, but honestly, if you want someone to help you, you have to be willing to accept the help.

If I'm not helping my clan through nightfall I'm happy to help wherever. If I'm on my sparrow on Venus and I see people trying to open the vault I help out. I have yet to complete the vault myself (gotten to Atheon just haven't killed him), but if someone wants a hand and I'm not busy I'm happy to help.

me and two friends guided three newbies through the raid just last night and had fun doing it. Yes we struggled at first but they took orders pretty well. People would be more inclined to help out if they got at least weapon xp or something for doing multiple raids i think

i think its just the gameplay. There's alot of grinding in this game that it will pretty much occupy your time. I have helped a random guy once and his buddy finish xyor quest and i even volunteered to help them to finish nightfall. But i was doing it, stuff that i could do for my character kept scratching the back of my mind. Made me alittle impatient.

I was helping clear the raid entrance out last night and in doing so I got invited to join their raid as they ended up being one short. I didn't have the intention of this. I just like to help out when I'm passing. it does pay off to be nice:). completed it with relative ease tbh compared to the first time I went through as there where some first timers. either way thanks guys:), I got a nice set of weapons but sadly no more armour:(

I help people a fair bit. But that stopped the second a lvl 27 hunter said he could solo VoG on hard using blue gear... I've had people boast before but that was a blatant lie and now I say fook all of them. You want help. Help your bloody self like I did. Dont ride on the curt tails of someone elses strength and experience.

1 回复I can understand your point, but there comes a point where after one person screwing gets frustrating on the raid. Did a raid a while back with one guy who caused over 15 wipes (I started counting after around 5) and killed countless raid members by knocking them off the edges with thunder punch. Short of that I completely agree with you.

I will say if one party member is dying all the time and him and/or others are just bs-IMF between wipes for up to five minutes...ya, that's a time waster for those who want to get it done. And if you're learning and new to the vault, I'd like to see newb run posts and have them set it up so one or two experienced players can lead a raid and teach them what to know. Once again, wiping over and over again for that one person is annoying as all hell. A few deaths, ok, it happens to us all, but 7 in a row on the first segment of a scenario? You tell me..

Or gives compliments, the one time I recovered any was I joined a random guy on the forms who need one more for VoG normal ( I had done it hard ) And we all died because the relic holder died. I didn't care and atheon was only half down. When it showed out kills I had 55 supplicant kills and the next highest was 15. All I heard was "praise the mighty clid" and "balm, nice bro" and "clid is blam-ing shiz up!!!" Not only funny at a death, but kind.

I don't mind helping people out. My problem comes in when all people want you to do is cheese them through the entire VOG for the loot gear and not care to learn how to run the different roles. I love helping randoms that want to get better at the game, not the randoms that want to reap the benefits of the gear. I know one too many people that are like that and I refuse to help them out when they ask me to.
