I talked to team and it is a known issue that they are working on. Luckily, you can get around it. When walking down the hallway with the pipe on the left (you walked on the pipe in the video) just make sure to stay to the middle of the hallway and not on the pipe. If the issue pops up again you should be able to go back to that area and re-trigger the waypoint.
Again, thank you for reporting this. The video saved us a lot of investigation time.

you can't retrigger the waypoint I tried everything... why is this a daily mission. bungie needs fix this and not put up broken daily missions. All I needed was 2 shards to level up which was the exact amount you get for playing this mission on level 28. I played it 3 times and the glitch happened every single time! it is extremely frustrating and annoying that after trying 3 times I am not able to get what I was trying to get. what should of taken 20 mins has taken 2 hrs and I still haven't even gotten the shards. and playing on level 28 when i am a 26 is not easy. I feel like bungie owes me shards on this one :p
