2 回复Thorn is amazing on a Hunter but only a Hunter. With the stacking reload speed it's an amazing gun. But I can't use it on my warlock or titan since its so frustrating with the huge reload. The penetrating bullets is sick and the huge precision damage area is amazing but without a buff to mag size or reload speed/damage of dot to make up for such sluggish reload its not my go to wep for anything bar Hunter.

1 回复I'm in love with the fatebringer<3 the hand cannon that drops on hard in the raid. I have never wielded the thorn or obtained the bounty soo I'm I haven't a clue of what it's capable of.

I have followed this game since before it had an office name and the devs called it "Project Tiger". The first weapon I saw from Destiny's concept art was, Thorn. As a marksman who loves the nostalgic history of the revolver, I knew I had to have this weapon. The frame looks like it was heated to some ungodly temperature and hung upside down to let the gun melted into place. The metal dripping down the barrel to give it that dark, sinister, jagged, beautifully painful look. I'm a very positive person in general, but I wanted Thorn to represent my darker side. As a main weapon in this imaginary world, I couldn't be happier.

1 回复The sound, feel and handling of this gun is just pure awesome. I totally rocked pvp with it. Last round of clash I had 22 kills and 8 deaths and a score of almost 3000, more than twice as much as the next player. I've almost consistently been top 3 after I started sporting Thorn, shotgun, machine gun and bladedancer. Earlier I used to end up somewhere on the lower end of the rankings. It's really a good feeling being able to 2-3 shot people with my main. Can't wait till I get the DoT upgrade.

It was the look at first for me. I completed the bounty, not without some struggle I must add, and after receiving it I was disapointed. Abysmal reload time, small magazine and normal damage. I would get rid of it if it was not for Bungie promissing to buff the gun in the future I decided to stick to it. After gaining some upgrades Thorn becomes completely different weapon but the bigest difference was getting gear that would help me with the reload time. Not sure if other classes can get something similar bur Warlocks can obtain gloves that would help. Then I unlocked Mark of the Devour and suddenly Torn transformed into a beast of a weapon. Its good in PvE and it's brilliant in PvP. Your oponent will not ge a way with just slimer of health only to regenerate behind cover. Not anymore. Pick agressive balistics and perfect balance perks for recoil control and get some kills. To cut the long story short I'm glad I stuck to Thorn and dedicated some time to upgrade it because this weapon changes completely after you unlock Mark of Devour perk. Plus because this weapon is relatively hard to get not many people is running around with it. Happy hunting fellow Thorn owners.

3 回复I just got thorn last night. I really want to upgrade it to the DoT effect, but not sure if it is worth it and will make it a lot better, or if I am wasting my time :/

3 回复You know how you can counteract the slow reload? Don't miss! Thorn is the best. I prefer it over my Mythoclast.

oh my..... The alien look in comparison to the rest of the guns. The giant projectile it fires, (shoot a wall to see it). The statement it makes to others. The borderlands logo on the mag, (i think it is). Its a hand Cannon. The ability for DoT on a primary. The name.. I love all of it, ALL! Spread the love, and poison.

4 回复What's not to love about Thorn? By the way, you forgot to list the huge evil nail of blight it shoots out. Shoot at a wall and see what got stuck to it.

5 回复was the only exotic hand cannon I knew existed? after I got the devil oyu know thorn got put in the locker. it did make it to my alt char though while I save up marks to buy him his own the devil you know. corse if I'm lucky I'll find hawkmoon or the last word before then.
