All I know is I've had three Legendaries drop in Strikes since Friday as well as one tonight in the Lvl 28 Story but have not seen a single one in Patrol since the patch even after farming a couple of the new popular spots on Earth off an on for a few hours to test. Maybe it's luck and Bungie didn't increase the drop rate for the Lvl 24 and up areas when they decreased the drops everywhere else but it doesn't matter, if you're going to spend a lot of time playing Strikes there's no point in skipping the mobs that are part of the Strike because it doesn't speed up the win but by a few minutes and even one blue Engram drop is basically half a Strikes reward.
