Just made a poll over this, plz search speedrun and add your input - trying to get consensus on which method is preferred.

Just wanted to get a poll out there to see where the majority stand on this issue. Currently it's about 70% of players who are showing favor for speed runs - this will give the other side a chance to refute the current statistic.
