I agree but also I don't. The grimoire cards tell an amazing story. In fact the way it describes my Warlock as being on the line between godhood and madness on the battle field is so exciting to me that I am left wondering. Why haven't I actually experienced that? I don't feel like a god. I feel like a gravity defying soldier who uses a force push like melee as opposed to that guys knives and that other guys electric punches. And I look like every other guy wearing the same robe with a few repositioned buckles.
I think the cards draw attention to what isn't in the game play rather than add to it.
They nailed the mechanics though I keep going back just to shoot aliens in the face because it feels good. They just need to step up their story game.

I understand what you mean. I only talked about the cards as an example and yes I do also believe more could have been done. I love the mechanics of the game and the story as a part of the universal storyline the have made (in which there will probably be a 2 or 3) is what i was trying to point out. I dont think i made that part very clear XD but in terms of the game itself there is a lot they did and a ton they can still do to improve every day

Yes. Its fantastic ground work. And I'm sure that's the way they planned it. To have a game that plays as well as this one and have the cards and other elements to tease the future of the story. (Whether that was Bungie or Activision's doing to leave, what everyone is seeing as, too much room for DLC is another issue) They've already said they hope to get 10 years out of the game. So its not surprising at all. What people aren't admitting is that they loved the game enough to explore all the content as quick as they did and now they have to play the waiting game. The two things we need to be fighting for, rather than the useless squabbling that most of these forums offer, is rich future content that is worthy of the story they promised and, perhaps more importantly, a reasonable price tag. I need to thank you for having an intelligent conversation rather than the sh*t we all cop from most of these threads.
