I have the same issue. I was playing with some friends around 4pm (central time) and we were being disconnected, but after a fer attempts I was able to log back in. A bit after logging in I noticed that some engrams that i brought to the cryptarch reverted back to engrams. I guess it was a rollback from the disconnect, but after using my engrams again and turning in some bounties I logged out. About an hour later I came back to play some more and I got centipede error, and after troubleshooting constantly for hours and doing all of the things on bungie's help page I gave up (maybe bugged items because of rollback). I decided that the problem was on bungie's side and that I would let them work it out. It has been over 24 hours and I understand that a lot of people have the same issues but damn i wanna play since there is an event going on and it is frustrating to see that some of my friends are able to log in but i cant get past the start screen. Being unable to even get to character selection i ask to please fix my account.
