I honestly can't believe this game took 5 years and 500 million dollars to make?
You know what else took 5 years to make? Skyrim, and Bethesda Game Studios is a third the size of Bungie, not to mention I bet their publisher gave them much less money.

But they were focused on one location. Of course you can load one region with a ton of shit to explore and do. That and the fact exploring is part of the Oblivion series. Destiny was never touted as an exploration game. Wait for No Man's Sky if that is what you want.
Are you sure on that? Because I remember walking half way across the map and encountering maybe 10 enemies, one was a random dragon.
Maybe if you make it a point to ignore everything else that actually happens, sure.
Like what? A random guy running down the road and forcing you into a dialogue screen demanding money, or asking you to hold onto something?
That, or stumbling across an old beaten road to the side that trails off into a camp of enemies. Or the dragons. Or the roaming caravans. Or the myriad of smaller settlements between the large cities that are hubs for side quests. There's also the enormous amount of mods and community support. But sure, it's just some guy wanting money.

由VerbalTachi编辑: 9/21/2014 2:59:00 PMSure but if they had gone that route then we'd get one big open land game to play or else we'd have to wait 10 plus years if they created areas as big as Skyrim for each planet. I'd rather they expand the areas for each planet via expansions and add more story missions rather than explore one big open land like Skyrim then wait another 5 years for them to release the next planet.

由BlackHawkDrunk编辑: 9/21/2014 2:47:41 PMDestiny did NOT cost $500M to make. That number is the estimated cost for the entire franchise over a projected 10 year span. It includes the budgets for 4 games, all DLC & advertising. And Skyrim is one of the buggiest games of all time, especially at launch...
