I don't pay attention to reviews or care what scores things get because I trust my own opinion more than I trust a 10/10 paid for review, a 5/10 we-didn't-get-paid-for-this revenge review, an it's-cool-to-hate-shit hipster review, or a knee jerk angry internet review.

While that is all well and good that you do that, I myself like to hash my own opinions on video games as well, but ratings can affect sales. Those that are influenced by ratings will possibly look the other way on such a good game. That is why I think it's a slap in the face to a video game company such as Bungie who are truly dedicated to their community and the quality of their games.
