No, no, no... There is more to it than this. The issue here is the player experience. It makes for a shitty experience. I played with two of my friends yesterday doing strikes and story mission and everything else for 12 hours. My friend got a legendary engram. We were all very exited cause it was the first we had ever seen. Now mind you I'm light level 23 my friend 22. It was the first we had ever seen. We were looking forward to see what he would get. He got -blam!-ing crafting materials. Image the disappointment he felt! That awesome moment was diminished in an instant. Literally rigth after I decoded a blue engram. I got a -blam!-ing legendary wich was sweet. But guess what? I couldn't use it! Cause it was for the Warlock. It's these constant disappointments that We've been facing since we've hit the level cap. So what if one in a thoundsand gets an exotic. Then you have 999 more players who are frustrated and let down... I'm not saying that legendaries should drop every ten minutes. This isn't diablo 3. But I've havent felt rewarded in this game since I hit the level cap, because of shit RNG. I haven't been able to find an upgrade for my weapon since level 16. So I'm level 23 running around with a level 16 weapon. Again because of shit RNG. Eventually people will have played long enough to be able to buy all the legendaries and exotics. But where's the fun in that? I want to find it by playing the game, killing the mobs... So it's not luck when EVERYONE except one in a thousand is unlucky. Then it's just about the drop rates being WAY to low.
