I don't see why so many people have a problem with this. I am straight, but I can completely understand where the OP is coming from. I mean let's face it folks, the level of maturity among gamers isn't exactly stellar. How many times have you heard people arguing online over a game and somebody calls the other guy a fag, or a queer, or some other inappropriate term, whether or not the person the dweeb is arguing with is actually gay. I can completely understand why the OP wouldn't want to be in a clan with people like that. He even said you don't have to be gay to join the clan, you just have to support their community. Makes total sense to me. I'm a black guy, and I wouldn't want to be in a clan where people were dropping the N bomb left and right. As far as I"m concerned, with as much homophobia as we have in America, and as much as the religious right loudly and proudly denounces gay people, I see absolutely no reason why gay people can't be loud and proud too. Especially since they are the minority being discriminated against and their message isn't one of hate, but one of accepting who you are and being proud of it. I have no problem with gay people shouting it from the rooftops, it's the homophobic anti gays in America that need to stfu. Live and let live.

I don't know why people have to fabricate unnecessary social dividers in unrelated situations. Do we really need more labels and classes to serve as a catalyst to the schism of society? Aren't people already divided enough?
