What are you talking about?
I never experience any of this...
I always hear mic chatter and even if I'm playing a game like battlefield, someone with a mic is always eager to start coordinating the second you talk to them...

Like bf3 when it launched..so every one just switches to party chat...next time you play just profile a player on your team and invite them to your party chat...then do this to everyone else and your team will join usually...mainly because they are desperately trying to get the in game chat working when it's broken at the moment.
