Leave hunters alone!
This is a post directed towards all the people who for some reason have taken to hating on the hunters. Now I didn't think it was that big of a problem, until I starting seeing the term "huntard" thrown around like it was calling people the next hitler. We are all going to kill aliens together are we not? Our goal is the fight the darkness as one, to defend the last city as an army, not discriminate towards the ones that fight differently. The main reason hunters are getting flak i found is that apparently "COD fanboys" and "kiddies" play them. First of all I know a lot of very mature, intelligent, and very skilled players that happen to be a fan of COD AND main a different class. And in sure they do better in crucible than most of you class haters. Also trust me young gamers play other classes too.
So please, let's just have fun worshipping the purple ball together, please? I just want to log in the tower, kick the ball, and dance with everyone else without everyone running from me like the plague. Sorry for the rant but I had to say something. See you starside fellow guardians. And I don't think the term guardian covers people who criticize others on their choice of class.
EDIT: Some people seem to misunderstand why I made this post, it's not people disliking the class, that's fine, and can make sense from a lore perspective. However it's the people who dislike the person who plays the class that I think is ridiculous. Personally I'm fine but newer players, especially with no raid matchmaking, could have a hard time because of this, and that's what I don't like. But as I said its a rant, thanks for all the replies though :D

4 回复I play as a hunter most of the time and I can honestly say I do not care whatsoever about hunters being hated on. Hell, I'm usually tempted to go along with it. In other words, life's too short to take random people's words too seriously. And honestly, a lot of people who go on and on about how terrible hunters are recently are trolls. All they have to do is make fun of a hunter and another one of these posts pop up. It's like taking candy from a paralyzed baby.

I wouldn't worry fella. Someone will always moan , hate or complain about a class , gun or whatever It's only a game be who you want and use what you want ..... If you kill someone you will be either OP or a NOOB for using it. Play and enjoy

I think Bungie put classes like these into the game for that reason. So people can dislike a certain class an have stronger ties to their own class and make them not want to switch. I'm a hunter and the term "huntard" doesn't bother me. I don't consider myself mature compared to people on Wall Street but I'm mature enough to not piss people off when I play

You really mean this right? I'm a hunter and it doesn't bother me, I put it in perspective. I even like the bashing between warlocks and hunters as part of their lore and we keep that piece of lore alive. But I am with you when those who say hateful things about hunters start to take it serious an really insult the person and not the person he plays (hunter). But... This is the internets...

Chill, the type of person who is gonna arbitrarily exclude playing with a single class because of some magical logic theory they made up to make themselves feel better, is probably a douchebag that would be nearly impossible to get along with anyway. I may just main hunter so I can stay away from that kind of super try hard gamer, can't see myself having fun with someone who will probably constantly be complaining about how the other members of his team are playing until they rage quit halfway through a raid.

Yo nothing wrong with the hunter class. It's just generally the people who cater to the hunter class. The lone wolf people who think they can do everything by themselves. The titan caters to the people who just like to charge straight in without thinking. And the warlock caters to the intellectual leaders who tend to be pretty cocky. They all just fit certain people better. Obviously there are outliers who don't fit the stereotype but stereotypes are created for a reason
