The cards give you lore, a lot of them are 'redacted' or blank as we would say. Probably keeping as much lore close to the chest as possible. For example, fallen dregs have 4 arms 2 of which were cut or torn off because of shame or something and they fight hoping to get their honour back and get to regrow them.
