What will wipe out humanity?
One day, humanity will probably get wiped out for some reason or another, but there are many possibilities for what exactly will do it. What do you think will wipe out our species once and for all?

Plus the CO2 in the atmosphere is 500ppm, which is due to the industrial revolution and is furthering the detrimental effects of climate change. That's why the fire season in California is getting longer and droughts are getting worse. That's why we're seeing more severe and numerous tornadoes, blizzards, hurricanes, etc. Glaciers are receding at unprecedented levels worldwide. By 2050, Glacier National Park's glaciers will all be gone due to climate change. And it's sad because it's not climate change that will kill us. Rather, it's our inability to understand just how little time we have to fix this before we reach a tipping point that will be our demise. It is the folly of man that will end up killing him.

It's hard to say. Life is unpredictable. Personally, I believe that we will be the engineers of some event that knocks us down, and topples our modern day society and technology levels, crippling us as a species, leaving us largely powerless. And then, when we're at our weakest point, another event will take place, one that we won't be able to combat, and it'll knock us out for good. The two events that will most likely knock us down will either be the environment going out of control on such a scale that all we'll be able to do is simply flee or do our best to cope. And the second, could still potentially be nuclear fire. At both points, it will be a war of attrition that wittles us down to nothing, until the last man standing stands no more.

Here's how I think it will play out first humanity finds an alien spaceship on mars we call it the traveler human civilization enters a golden age the human life span triples we begin to colonize Mars Venus and our moon then a darkness that had been hunting the traveler across space finds us and wipes out must of humanity until their is only one last city built under the traveler where man kind makes their last stand against the enclosing darkness
