Oblivion Ash is the Dead-Orbit-specific dye that you get from the Dead Orbit merchant in the Tower. Aside from dying your armor in that way, we want you to have the opportunity to be as unique as you want. By all means, if you don't agree with the prerequisite, you don't have to join.
