I actually had a dream last night that NK was really ahead of the curb when it came to technology and that their poverty and starvation aspect was just a front to mislead other countries, and that they unleashed hell on the U.S. with stealth bombers, and K.E.M. strikes from orbit. I was happy in the dream. It was odd.

They do damage solely with their kinetic energy achieved from falling from orbit onto it's target. I believe they reach about mach 7, depending on the size of the individual rods. Typically, the satellite dropping them would have several. They are less powerful than nukes, but don't have any of the fall out, and are legal to put into orbit, while nukes are not.

由Viaxas编辑： 7/9/2014 8:10:17 AMwell physics backs it up. and to be honest a giant heavy rod flying down out of orbit at extremely high velocity, and then impacting the ground like an asteroid/comet seems like way more devastating than a nuke, not really but i think more of a mental impact then anything, since most likely you wont be able to do anything about it by the time you see it or detect it.
