Does Michael Bay enjoy ruining our childhoods?
Trailer was a cringefest, between the music and Megan Fox and everybody trying to make it cool... ugh
But the actual turtle dialogue is decent. It just doesn't seem to blend with the tone of the movie so far.
That Shredder armor was awful too...

3 回复Ever since I saw that quote from Bay saying he "makes movies for 13 year olds, so what?" I couldn't hate him.

I guess I would be mad at him if he were taking some amazing creative endeavor and turning it into a shallow action movie for kids. But Transformers and TMNT were already there to begin with, so we're not exactly sacrificing a lot. I'm not sure what else people would want from these movies other than crazy action and explosions.

21 回复Damn, is hating on Michael Bay the cool and edgy thing to do nowadays? Is he the new Shyamalan? *tips fedora* Bay produces escapism, nothing more. At least he doesn't try to be something he's not. If you want tryhard 2deep4u fedoracore shlock then crawl back to Nolan. Meanwhile, I'll keep on enjoying my 2 hour CGI spectacles. Also, he isn't "ruining" your childhood. Ruining your childhood would be Bay retconning the entire TMNT universe. Be thankful he isn't doing that.

2 回复It looks like they're going for the "dark, serious" tone but mix it with the personalities of the turtles. Not sure if how well those will fit.

1 回复It's the first 21 Century TMNT movie that has a style on relation to the classic TMNT movies and you don't like it yet when they did a cartoon style in 2005 not a whole lot of people liked that one either...Shush
