Okay, so I found the video I was talking about earlier with the hidden chest and dead ghost in the Ogre room. It turned out that what I fought was not an Ogre, but a Level 16 Hallowed Knight, even though it's the same location in the OP's video. Anyways, here it is. The chest location is near the end of the video.

Has anyone tried talking to the ogre? I mean, maybe this is just a big misunderstanding.

my friend and I killed him, use a rocket launcher to push him off the cliff. Also inside to the right is a fallen ghost. Too bad betas over now
