It really is pathetic.

While OP is right in regards that it's an issue, their post came across in the wrong light. More of a "There's bad stuff happening over there, what are you going to do about it?" sort of deal. There's nothing any of us here could really do, even if we know what's going on. Hell, the people in Brazil couldn't do jack shit and they were at the heart of things. It's a point that's lost on the wind here because of the potential hostility in the post and the fact that at its core this is a gaming forum. There's little sympathy to be found here from the sports fans and other folks. And, on the fallback that it was simply raising awareness, okay, now what? Now that we know what's going on over there, the question is, what are we going to do? The answer is nothing.

Indeed, I was more directing that at the people who started calling noelle a freak/man because of her opinion. That's what's really pathetic. <.<
