Can't wait for everyone to get hyped about it again, then cry when it's released because it isn't exactly what they wanted. Then H4 will probably be considered amazing or something.

That's what people said about Reach, and low and behold, look what happened. Same thing with Halo 3. People bitched about it because it wasn't Halo 2, but when Reach released, these same dumb-asses were licking the Master Chief's boot (not to mention the Arbiter's hoof).

The competitive community has always hated casual mainstream mechanics. Every Halo since 3 has gradually added more and more. Reach added load outs and removed visible ranking system, slowed down gameplay, added bloom, ect. Halo 4 took it a step further with kill streaks, perks, worse UI, ect. Halo 4 easily had one of the best campaigns, but multiplayer was horrid. If 343i makes an even better campaign and a competitive multiplayer, hardly anyone will complain, except maybe the halo 4 kiddies who want armor abilities back.
