Flood have forms called 'combat forms'. Necromorphs don't. Halo has Brutes. Dead Space has -blam!- all, I don't bother with their names. When you say 'brute combat form', I don't think 'the necromorphs have a form called the brute combat form', I think 'it's a Brute that got take by the flood and turned into a combat form'.
