Well there are Glock, Springfield XD(M)s, Khar Arms, Ruger, Sig, and a lot more that all have good pistols for CCW. Light weight and have a rather large ammo capacity. There are too many models to list of each company but if you look at the company's website and look at a few vids and reviews how they function online you could see one you like. I cant really tell you which one to pick mostly because everyone is different. What i find helpful is sometimes going to the range and/or gun shops that rents out guns to see if they have that model and see how it functions. Also check if the gun is comfortable in your hand to see if you like it. Thats the best advice I could give you. Its mostly up to you to see what works with you.

10 回复由Recon Number 54编辑: 5/26/2014 6:25:19 PMLots of variables, so many to list. It took me nearly 10 years to settle on the carry handguns I have and their best method of carry. Lot's of purchases and sales, lots of trying other peoples pistols, lots of shopping at stores that had ranges who would either let me test fire or rent a model that I was interested in. What is "perfect" for one person would end up "sitting in the safe" for someone else because it was too _____. Heavy, small, wide, didn't function reliably for them, couldn't find an effective or comfortable carry method, and so on. It's possible do enough research, lower some of your expectations and requirements and find something that "does the job". All of the various handguns that went through my possession when I was trying to find the "right ones for me" always did meet almost all of my needs, but until I finished looking, there was always "something small" that kept one gun or another from being "perfect for me". So if you're not looking for perfection (which is nearly impossible to get on your first go), try out various models and actions at a store or with friends at a range to get an idea of what fits you well, what you can reliably and safely operate, and use that experience to help refine your search. I know of people who by a .38 snubbie or a Kahr 9mm and are "done and good". As long as they are safe, legal, competent, consistent and confident with their choice, that is what matters in the end.

2 回复Springfield XDS .45 Single stack.45 that holds 5+1 and fits damn near in the palm of my hand. Recoil is good, muzzle flip is manageable (and by manageable I mean horrid, but you CAN over come it with practice) and jeezus...it's a -blam!-ing .45! I carry it because I think shooting twice is silly. It's my day to day CCW.

1 回复I used to carry an old .38 snub into the city at night. Real small, real easy to hide. No one will ever notice it if you're not waving the thing around. Problem is, you're -blam!-ed outside of ten yards and I only had four rounds since I left one chamber empty for a safety. But on the plus side, you get to feel like a cowboy!
