Would much prefer an announcement of a REAL new Elder Scrolls game, even if it's two or three years out.
Fallout 3 just didn't capture me the same way Skyrim did... Could that be because I never played Fallout 3 on PC?

Not unless mods is what captured you in Skyrim[/quote]Tough to say. I torrented Skyrim back a month after it came out, and ended up playing a good 80 hours in just 2 weeks with the vanilla version alone. I loved it so much, I bought it off Steam for a cool $40, and I've poured another 200 hours into the game since then, and a lot of that experience has been with mods.
I'm not going to say vanilla Skyrim isn't a quality experience. But some mods like SkyUI, magic leveling, and numerous fixes to followers and bugs and the environments improve the game so much it's hard for me to go back to playing the game without them. On the other hand, mods aren't all great... one of them screwed up dragon spawning, and the lot of them together is a mess to untangle every time I install the game.
