[spoiler]Battle Royale is finally on Netflix so I'm quite happeh faec right now.[/spoiler] Now, if you already know the premise of Battle Royale or have watched the film - Skip the next paragraph while I explain it to those who live under rocks. For those of you who live under rocks, Battle Royale is a Japanese film about school kids being dumped on an Island to kill each other off as a part of the 'Millennial Education Reform Act' to deal with a riotous youth who were causing all kinds of hell in Japan. So the solution is - Corporal Punishment in the extreme. A class is randomly selected to partake each year and they have to be the last one alive at the end - or they all die. Bomb Collars are used to make sure people play by the rules. If you try to escape/fight the guards - Boom. **Those who live on top of rocks may not start reading again** So, I know a fair few of the people on here have already left school (Some quite a while ago) but for the sake of the game - Either your current high school class or the last one you were in, is whisked off to the tropical island, given a rucksack with basic supplies and a random weapon and you are told to run off and fight to survive. For the purpose of the game, you can choose your weapon but it cannot be firearms/explosives (Unless you want a brace of frag grenades - only exception) Do you try to take as many with you as you can, knowing that death is all but inevitable? Do you resign yourself to fate and abstain from violence? Do you run and try to survive by avoiding fights? For the plebs and peasants, this is the original hunger games. The horrific and realistic version of rounding up a bunch of children to kill each other off, not some disney twilight -blam!-ry. So, Good luck! IKU[b]Z[/b]O!
