I've narrowed down all the reasons one might deny a scientific consensus into one easy poll.

2 回复Because it's cold outside, duh. If it's global warming, why isn't it summer already? /average American logic

2 回复Being an environmental engineering major, I can not stand people who deny global warming. I got into an argument with my own parents about it, because they legitimately think that global warming is a conspiracy derived by the government to scare the masses.

1 回复Because it's all just more sinful lies for ZombieRaptorObama who is trying to force the illerminerty upon the world. Checkmate commonsense Lizard people 1 Obama 0

2 回复I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If God wanted us to be worried about the environment, he'd have given Moses a beatnik beard, horrible body odor and a fat doobie.

15 回复My graph is bigger than yours and says otherwise (anthropomorphically speaking. I do not deny the relative warmth.)

2 回复Only a idiot would deny that the Earth warms and cools over time. The question you probably meant to ask is "Why do you deny anthropogenic climate change". - Der

2 回复First: some scientists believe that, not most. Second: It's not just "science", be more specific; what kind biology, ecology? Third: the scientists who support it aren't even ecologists. Fourth: Leading theory; Climate change to Ice Age after quick warm up.

59 回复bc the Earth has actually been cooling for the passed 16 years... Unless you deny documented statistics and data.

由Madman Mordo编辑: 4/28/2014 10:57:31 PMOption 4 seems like the most probable, because whenever I confront climate change deniers they always just seem to regurgitate whatever half baked reason they've been spoonfed at the flip of their wrist, without any semblance of thought put into it. When I press further, they just cop out with the classic "hurr bait" and "you don't know what you're talking about because muh cycles."

Yes we are harming the planet by all the CO2 and trash, no we aren't making a very big impact on the earths climate as we think we are. It's a cycle, just like the water cycle. Although we -blam!- a lot up, "global warming" is just another thing blown way out of proportion.

1 回复I find number 1 rather objectionable. One can disagree with science without believing they are more intelligent than scientists; one would simply say they don't agree.

4 回复Global warming =/= Science. Its climate change; The world has to vary in climate to have life.
