Wealth is not the same as income, you can tax a man for having a factory but you can't redistribute that factory, all Socialism would do is put the factory in the hands of the government. Now people would think that would destroy the "Rich Vs. Poor" because they would be under this delusion that the government is going to do things right. Because governments have had amazing track records of always being right, right?
