Rapper Cuts Off His Own Penis in Suicide Attempt
[quote]Andre Johnson, who is more widely known as Northstar rapper Christ Bearer, was hospitalized Wednesday after a suspected suicide attempt, TMZ reports.
Johnson was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after he cut off his penis and jumped from the second-story balcony of a North Hollywood apartment building.
Sources who were present at the apartment building at the time of the incident told TMZ that hard drugs were not involved, and that Johnson gave no warning before dismembering himself and leaping from the balcony.
Johnson's rap group, Northstar, was founded by members of Wu-Tang Clan. It is unclear whether doctors will attempt to reattach his penis.[/quote]
