I have made a short, sweet little message.
Something that you all need to say to anyone that is still in doubt about all this.
If Mark wanted to help Oculus.
Why didn't he do it through kickstarter like everyone else?

If you want to develop the technology and think you can make something out of it, that's a pretty shitty proposition. This isn't Happy Fun Friends Lending Company, it's actual business. When you invest money in something, you put in a lot of it based on what you feel you can get out, and you can also put the force of your experience and infrastructure behind it. Mark Zuckerberg the Kickstarter backer would put in $5 and never care about it again. Facebook the owner will put in billions and turn it into a transformational product-- or at least that's the dream.

And I'm sorry, but Oculus really is a transformational product indeed. My only hope is... that FB can tank fast enough to make Palmer realize his mistake in taking a deal of only $400M
