Wait can we use mash up ourselves, or is bungie using it to make a bunch of different pieces of armor from the same parts?
I really hope this doesn't stop each armor set from looking unique.

It's developer software. It speeds up the process of creating new and unique gear by turning it into a game of Legos. While I do believe we will be given a fair amount of freedom to customize our gear, I don't believe we'll be given THAT MUCH freedom.
