Something from Samsung. If you have a contract that ends soon you'll be happy to know the Galaxy S5 releases in May. You might be interested in getting that with your next contract, or you could very easily go with an older one. If you don't like Samsung I'd recommend an HTC ONE, or any kind of DROID.
Also, take this to #offtopic as well unless you can cleverly come up with a way to include gaming in this situation like "What are good game apps on a [i]very good phone you would recommend aside from an iPhone?[/i]

I don't really know.. I know some people have have the Xperia Z ultra and they love it. The best thing to do is go into a store and fiddle around with the phones they have and see what fits your style, preference, and what you look for in a phone. If you want great display I assume you want a larger screen. If you want better games and apps than any phone with google marketplace is going to be for you (android software). As for bugging out, I don't really know about that one. Each phone has it's flaws, but each phone can also function exactly as it was supposed to.
